Dwarka is part of Capital of India “Delhi”. Dwarka is known as a sub city and located in the South West Delhi. This name Dwarka is named after the legendary Dwarka Kingdom.
There are mainly four entrances for Dwarka. One entrance is from Janakpuri (Pankha Road) known as Dabari More, other entrance is from Kakrola More, next entrance is from Underpass coming from Shiv Murti NH-8 Highway. Where one side is IGI Airport and other side is Udyog Vihar Gurgaon. Forth entrance is coming from Dhola Kuya Fly Over it is also joining Domestic Airport.
With the opening up of the Airport Express Line, which has been built and being managed by Reliance Infrastructure Ltd, the travel time from the Dwarka Sector 21 Metro station to Airport is expected to be about 3 minutes.
Few years back it was very difficult to enter in Dwarka there were no proper way. Dwarka was known as Pappan Kalan Colony which are now being developed under the 'Urban Expansion Projects' of the Delhi Development Authority. Dwraka is known as a largest largest residential area in Asia, it is supposed to have a "Zero Tolerance" policy towards common misuses of land and the transgressions of any existing laws and regulations, such as encroachments, which are frequently thought to be flouted in other parts of Delhi. It is also frequently referred to as the "Model Township" and is also thought to be the most organized and cleanest of all parts of Delhi and nearby townships.
Dwarka also have a wide spread infrastructure and having developed parallel road network. The markets as well as the societies are constructed with well planning. Every sector has societies as well as DDA residential societies. Every sector has its small markets known as Local Shopping Centres. The distance of shopping place is not more than 1 KM.
Road network is built in Dwarka with modern specifications and well connected to each and every sector.
Road network is well connected with Metro Stations. There are eight Metro Stations in Dwarka and all are on proper locations and near to societies.
Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3 is well connected with Sector 21 Metro Station which is interchange with the Airport Express Line.
Dwarka Metro is now joining with Noida(UP), Anand Vihar, Rohini, Gurgaon, Pragati Maidan etc. And gradually the strength of Metro rail is increasing.
Further one excellent opening is waiting for time that is “DWARKA EXPRESS WAY” starting from Dwarka to NH-8, MANASER. This is good for Jaipur goers.
